What is Special Care Dental Service?

The primary function of Tauranga Special Care Dentistry is to complement the care provided by general dental and medical practitioners on a referral basis (where appropriate, patients can be seen without referral).

We provide long-term care for our patients with special healthcare needs that a general dentist may feel unable to manage. Services include the full range of dentistry, such as routine dental check-ups, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, tooth extraction, root canal treatments and dentures. We also offer mobile dental services for people who cannot physically access our clinic.
